Dear Aunt Judy, You are such a talented knitter! Our family needs help in re-creating a set of family heirlooms that have worn out after more than 100 years and I think you could help! My family has a large plantation where we grow walnuts, chestnuts and pecans. At important family gatherings, each place setting would have a small hand knit decorative bag that contained one each of these 3 species as a way of marking our family history. Unfortunately the original bags made by my great gandmother and her sisters have worn out. None of us now really know how to knit, so I thought I would ask what would be the best way to make a nut sack? Thanks
